Just bought a Plextor 708A Should I update firmware to 1.03?

Well my Plextor 708A DVD Burner just arrived and it has version 1.02 firmware in it. I am wondering if it is a good idea to upgrade to 1.03 as I have heard a few bad things about thenewest firmware. Thought and opinions are appreciated

I would for sure recomend upgrading to 1.03.

I also highly recommend upgrading to 1.03, since it has a number of useful improvements over 1.02

Upgrade it. Since burnquality for 8x recording at 4x media is better and -R media is much better supported.
