Great, the pastels are definately TY's then?
Would the fact that the Singapore disks are made by MCC themselves make those disks better than de Taiwanese (supervised CMC) disks?
So the choice would be:
1. Japan.
2. Singapore.
3. Taiwan.
Right?

Still since you as a Lite On user would be better to buy TY since Lite On's are better optimised for it ! But most other drives like MCC better. Check arround when the Plextor 708 was released some respectable magazines checked the writing quality and only MCC performed excellent at 8x.
