Plex 708A & Goldstar GDR8162B Master/Slave Install Help?

I have a new Dell Dimension 4600 P4 that came with a Goldstar GBR8162B DVD ROM drive. I want to use the Gold to rip and the Plex to wtite. How do I best configure these? I think I understand that the the Plex should be master and the Gold should be slave. Should I try a "Cable Select" configuration if possible or put both drives on an IDE cable? Do I set the jumpers for master and slave as seems obvious?

I want to use this setup so it works best with DVDXcopy.

I'm obviously new at this, thanks for any help.
