Who Owns a Optorite DD0401??

Postby Snyperx on Thu Nov 20, 2003 1:44 am

Anyone out there own a Optorite DD0401? I am really looking heavily at this drive, but can not seem to find a review on it. I saw one thread and only one post was about someone who recently bought one of these. Has anyone else purchased one of these drives and if so give me your thoughts. Is Optorite a good company?? It sounds like they are doing what Lite-On IT did when they started up(a bunch of engineers starting a company). Thanks. :D

I've yet to see a review on the same drive, I bought mine last week and have only burnt 1 DVD+R @ 4x using the memorex that were on sale via amazon.com.
I burnt the movie from an existing IMG file I got , I tried it in one dvd player which was unable to recognise the disk so I may need to try a -R disk instead.
The drive supports all the neroinfo tool specs apart from Mount Rainier and RAM formats.
