Will Pioneer DVR 106 or DVR A06 supports HD-Burn

Postby gomcse on Wed Nov 19, 2003 9:30 pm

Hi guys,

I would like to get a dual mode DVD burner which will support HD-Burn and allow me to use Nero to burn 1.4 GB Data onto a 700 MB CDR.

Any idea whether Pioneer DVR A06 / DVR A06 upport this HD-Burn feature or not?

Please kindly advise.

No, the Pioneer won't. It doesn't have a Sanyo chipset.

The MSI-DR4-A is the same drive and there are some other companies also selling it under a different name.

Here in Holland I can't get the optorite but I can get the MSI-DR4-A.(For a insane price compared to a Pioneer a06)
