Overburning DVD discs

Is it possible?
Has anyone tried yet?

I have compilation and i need a few MB to burn??

Nero (latest version) won't let me. While it does show me the Enable Overburn/Cancel screen with a CD, it doesn't with a DVD.

Last I heard on the topic was that it is physically possible, in that it is realistically on different then overburning a CD-R... however no drive manufacturer or software manufacturer supports it. So the easy answer is no, you can't do it.
Punch Cards -> Paper Tape -> Tape Drive -> 8" Floppy Diskette -> 5 1/4" Floppy Diskette -> 3 1/2" "Flippy" Diskette -> CD-R -> DVD±R -> BD-R
