Lite-On LTR-52327S, i bought this from best buys for $18.99 after rebate and i'm new to this stuff. I read the bost about best media but what does it mean? Fuji 50 pack is $9.99 this week at office max but i don't see them listed so does this mean they may not work with this drive?

It'll work with just about any media. Just do a search on here, and you'll find endless pages of praise about this burner and Fuji media.

Verbatim DataLifePlus (not DataLife or ValueLife) is also very good media.

Probably the best discs are the Fuji discs (if they are made in Japan).

The Office Max Fuji discs will likely be Prodisc, made in Taiwan. Not as good as TY, but adequate for every-day use.

Taiyo Yuden, sometimes called 'that's', if you want the best out of your media.
Stone walls do not a prison make,
Nor iron bars a cage;
Minds innocent and quiet take
That for an hermitage;
If I have freedom in my love,
And in my soul am free,
Angels alone that soar above
Enjoy such liberty. - Richard Lovelace
