Nero Burning Rom 6.0.0.23 is out!

Regarding the burning a full (> 3GB) DVD disk issue:

I burned a DVD-R DVD last night that had > 4GB on it to my Pioneer A06 drive using Nero version 6.0.0.23. The disk burned OK, verified OK, and played OK.

So, this problem may only be affecting specific drives.

I used a Fuji DVD-R. (Manufacturer: TYG01) I purchased these because they were $10 less expensive than the 10-pack of Fuji DVD+Rs.

I noticed that the GUI of newer Nero has changed a bit. I tried to burn the disk by loading files created with DVD Shrink, but by default the wizard would not take me to Nero Express where I could simply load the files into the red Video_ts folder. I was taken to another menu instead (I believe it was NeroVision Express)...

I noticed this also. However, Nero SmartStart will allow you to configure the buttons. Press the "configure" button. (It's the middle of the bottom three.) Then you can tell Nero to run Nero Express for the "Make DVD-Video" task.

Note: The "Make Movie" button will still run Nero Vision Express 2, so you will still be able to start Vision Express when you want to.
