"Dual-Layer" DVD Burners => when ?

I read somewhere that dual-layer DVD burners are not far off.

Anyone know when we are likely to see them in normal retail supply ?

Nothing has been officially announced yet. However, the general concensus has been that the format will be finalized by spring (April?). Drives supporting it should come shortly lafter.
