Any new dvd burners coming out in the next month??

Postby AndyD2k on Thu Nov 06, 2003 9:53 pm

Was thinking of getting a dvd burner but not sure if I should wait a little longer. And yes, I'm aware of the fact that there will always be something new that eclipses current drives. Just want to know if there will be any new ones within this year :)

Looks like the lite-on will be the way to go :) I'll have to wait for that one and see what the pricewatch prices will be. Good thing I waited.

I'm confused. What happened to Lite-On then? And do the Nu-Tech drives have face plates?? Need something to go with my black lian-li :)

Off-topic, but Dell is now selling a 8x +r burner with the Dimension in Small Business. I was curious if this is an NEC, Lite-on, or ?

I should have added a little more info there. Rumor is TEAC's drive is based on NEC's new design. I have not been able to confirm that though.
