Hi guys. I was hoping for some help here. I am using a PX-708A drive with Nero 6.0.0.19 and XP. When trying to burn a DVD+R using Matrix or Memorex DVDs I find that on the burn screen my speed dialog box is greyed out with 2.4 selected. I ran Nero's dynamic write speed patch, and then burned a disc at 8X. However subsequent trials resulted in the same 2.4X speed. I tried reapplying the registrey patch, and ugraded the drives firmware to 1.03. I'm very lost. Any thoughts you guys have would be very appreciated. By the way, that sole 8X DVD I burned plays flawlessly in my standalone player.
