Hey,
been trying to burn a bin/cue svcd image packed with vcdimager on this atapi plextor 16x(primary/master/firmware1.04) with fireburner2.12(dao16) and i keep getting the same error on leadout:
Thread1: Processing Lead-out
Thread2: Write Error @ Sector 364396
Thread2: Sense Error: ILLEGAL_REQUEST (INVALID FIELD IN COMMAND PACKET) (0x05 0x24 0x00)
Thread2: Synchronizing Cache
Recording complete
it seems to be a non-fatal error because recording does complete and the disc is readable.. but the fact theres a write error worries me
also looks like it only happens on bins larger than 800megs.. but not all of them, had an 825 work fine, an 815 give the illegal request error, 823 work fine.. its never happened to a bin under 800megs though, so i'm guessing it has something to do with that
aside from fireburner, i've tried cdrdao1.15 which locks on these errors.. cdrwin4.0a which coasters anything burned in raw mode on leadout.. and nero which tells me i dont have enough space on the disc
these are all svcds from major release groups, theyre packed to burn on 80min discs and everyone i know has had no problems with them, been using imation 16x 80min discs like always, never had a problem with them before
has anyone else seen this error and know if its just some warning about oversized burns or something that will affect the burn negatively?
any help would be greatly appreciated
heres the full fireburner printout
