Liteon 401S upgrades to 441S just by firmware!!!!

No, those articles say that it may be possible to flash a LiteON 401s with a 411s firmware. However, a procedure as simple as that does not work. As BOTH articles mention, it is not a good idea to attempt, and LiteON is currently doing everything in their power to make sure any sites attempting to assist in this process are shut down. Hence, you will not find help here.
Punch Cards -> Paper Tape -> Tape Drive -> 8" Floppy Diskette -> 5 1/4" Floppy Diskette -> 3 1/2" "Flippy" Diskette -> CD-R -> DVD±R -> BD-R
