Optorite DD0203 Data verification FAILS!

When burning DVD+R (Memorex 4x) I’ve been getting data verification errors. I’m burning avi files usually 350mb a piece at 4x. The burn completes, (buffer stays at full during the burn) but data verification fails sure enough 1 if not more of the avi files will not play. I am using Nero 6.0.0.11 with firmware revision 2.16 on the Optorite. Is there an update I need for Nero, or upgrade on firmware, and or burn at slower speed, or just toss the drive out the window along with all the bad DVD’s ? I guess last option is not very economical. Thanks!

The Nero verification doesn't always work right, but its a false alarm if its just the last file it gives an error on. If you do a file compare its OK so just ignore the verification error its false. You should use the newer Nero v6.0.0.19 anyway.
