How can i get my Sony DW-U10A serviced?

I have a new Sony DW-U10A with firmware 1.1d. The drive was purchased about 3 months ago. I just tried the drive, and it is hosed. The tray will not open more than about 1/4 of an inch. Without success, I have tried to open the drive with a paperclip (via the emergeny release) and tried to gently force the door open. There is no way I will be able to get this drive open without cracking the case. I'd rather just RMA it to Sony and get a new drive.

Does anyone know who/where I contact to get the drive fixed? What is the warranty on these OEM Sony drives?

Yea, I know you think I'm crazy for just now testing the drive, but that's the way it goes.

I don't know whether or not Sony will support this OEM drive. Your best bet is to contact the reseller where you bought it from.
