Is there any DVDR Mp3 support for headunits?

Postby crazywhitie on Wed Oct 08, 2003 2:04 pm

I was wondering if there was any headunits that support for the DVDR and can play MP3s off the dvdr? I think this is cool so you can fit 4.7 gigs of mp3s on a dvd. Anyone found any that work?

there are some that can do this. Kenwood is who is coming to mind. I have a friend whose mp3 player plays dvds and I think its a kenwood. I'll ask him tonight when I see him though to be sure.

I assumed you meant for a car. Is it for the home instead?

i'm talking about the headunit as in car audio. Not a standalone dvd player.

There aren't any car units that can do that.

You could try something like this DVP-P2Q.

The specs indicate it is compatible with MP3 CD-R/CD-RW discs, but apparently not with DVD MP3 discs?
