New Sony DRU-510A firmware 1.0d

For those of you still using the DRU-510A, there is new firmware 1.0D availible.

Change-log says:
Improves reading and writing performance and reliability.
Improves reading and writing performance with 8cm DVD-R/RW.

just to let you sony users know, updated firmware in my usb enclosure just fine, but haven't burned anything yet

Lot less problems than with the Plex I might add.

Yes, the DRU-510A is a great drive guys! :)
Never had a problem with my 500A.

I loved my 500A; I only sold it to upgrade to 8X burning speed.
I sold it for the same price ($2 less if you take into account shipping) than I just paid for my 2nd 708A, thanks to Dell.

Still using the drive, as I said. Sure, it has less problems, it has been out much longer, and they have had lots of time to fix out all the bugs. It's also too slow, 4x aaaahh, the idea of 4x DVD+R burning gives me nightmares.
