Taiyo Yuden-Physical Evidence ?

hi all
i hope you all are well.
one way i found to check if it's a ty disc is the numbers on the hub.
TY's are straight across the hub not rounded.
check some of your disc's and see if it's true for your disc's.

i guess we all will be buying our disc's online. anyone know of good sellers ?

I usually look at the hub of the disc. If its opaque and not clear, its usually TY.

I've noticed the stright across serial number too, however I also know that Taiyo Yuden is not the only manufacturer to do this... although it *IS* the most common. The best way to tell is as Ian suggested about the frosted hubs. No other manufacturer (to my knowledge) does this.
