x8 Writing speed

Postby Stelios on Sat Oct 04, 2003 12:36 am

Hi

I have read in these forums that you can write a x4 DVD+R at x8 speed. Can anybody explain how to achive this? I usually use CloneDVD and NERO to write DVDs. I have a Plextor 708A.

If you are using the right brand of 4X DVD+R with your PX-708A (.e.g MCC...002, RICOH JPN R02 and Taiyo Yuden), Nero and Stomp will both allow you to burn at 8X.
Burners only:
Pioneer DVR-115D
Pioneer DVR-111D
Plextor PX-716A TLA0304
Plextor PX-716A same TLA
