Some more great pics, of Memorex Ultra-Speed CD-RW performing (bought two of those), both burned at 16 - 24x was even worse. Had to cancel Kprobe for second one, cause it just wouldnt finish due to errors:

For comparison, Verbatim Ultra-Speed CD-RW burned at same LTR-48246K, at 24x:
As you see all 3 images have increased error count at the end of cd. To rule-out possibility of me having a bad burner, I burned same Verbatim disc on my LDW-811S (also 24x):
Same story as you see - only much more errors reported this time. If it's my dvd burner writing cd-rws worse, or my cd burner misreporting errors I don't know. Here is same burn scanned using dvd burner:
