That LTR-52327S must really suck if your only getting 40x on 48x Fuji TY and Verbatim MCC media. Even my Plex gets full 52x on MCC media, and 40x on Fuji TY media.

I'm getting 52x with the Fuji TY 48x discs that I bought last week. The writing quality is astoundingly good, too!

aviationwiz, chill with the this sucks, that sucks. You are not helping. If anything, it shows your age.
Imation's are some of the better CMC manufactured discs out there. For day to day use, you can't go wrong unless you can find some TY's for the same price.
Check our review of the LTR-52327S. I tested the drive with a bunch of media. Most of which worked fine at 52x.
