As I see it, Lite-On is the best choice for most people, but if you want the extra features offered by the Plextor, by all means, buy the Plextor!
Personally, I buy Lite-On because I don't need the extra features enough to pay $250 for two drives (I got my 52327S for $10 after MIR. ).
