Given the 7S drive and TY media, there's no reason not to burn at 40x to 48x. Even 52x should produce very good quality audio discs, (better than manufactured discs). If a disc skips in a player, the problem is more likely to be due to the media/player combination rather than the burn speed. Burning slower than 24x will likely produce lower quality, not higher.
