NEC 1300A and the Optorite DD0203

Postby Silentbob343 on Mon Aug 25, 2003 12:18 am

I've seen many topics about various problems associated with the Optorite DD0203, usually centering on DVD compatibility. I found this NEC on Newegg for the same price as the Optorite. The writing speeds look to be identical on both drives. The drive is mainly needed for data back up with the occasional movie being burned. I’m not looking at making the purchase until I see a review for LITE ON’s +/- drive coming out later this year.

I guess the main question is why no talk about NEC’s drive? I did a forum search and found a couple of discussions but not a whole lot.

and you'll get all the info regarding this drive.

Wow 209 views I think Ian needs to do a review on that NEC.

We have a review of the TDK 440N on the way. It's based on that drive.
