How does the Sony DW-U14A differ from the DW-U12A?

Postby lgmayka on Fri Aug 22, 2003 11:01 am

Stores like LiveWarehouse are selling the new DW-U14A for $199 with free shipping (after promo code sonydw19off):

I don't see how this model differs from the DW-U12A. Anyone see a difference?

Looks like 510 specs except DVD read for the 510 is 12X.

Problem is, most resellers position the OEM versions of the Sony U10A and up as the 510 equivalent, post wrong specs etc.. So in all honesty, I wouldn't believe what I read. It could be though.

lgmayka, check your PM.

Someone break out the champagne, looks like a reseller got the correct specs with the right OEM drive.
