I've just bought a LG GCC-4480B and have a couple of questions:
1. Are there any patched RPC-1 firmware available which makes it possible to change the DVD region more than five times?
2. Does the 1.02 firmware upgrade makes any noticeable improvements on the drive? I'm a little afraid to install firmware upgrades since I've heard that it in worst case can harm the drive. Maybe I'm a little paranoid, but the drive works fine now, so why upgrade?
