Huge Problem Here DVD Read Speed. Help Me buy good one

Hi guys sorry for stupid title but its very informative :)

basically my problem is I do alot of dvd burning.

I make large iso file (xxx.iso) say 4.2gig and I use either nero or recordnow max all latest version.

My problem is I have 4x dvd writer but due to crappy read speed of my samsung 16x!!! dvdrom it cannot provide consistent data to burner..

My question is what is the best dvd rom i can buy that will read dvd-+r disks at minimum speed of 4x..

I read about toshiba (with hacks and stuff but its hard to find toshiba dvd rom in Australia :( )
My interests is in the Liteon Drive... does anyone have any suggestion??

Thanks guys

Your 16x drive can't provide data at 4x?

Before buying another drive, I'd make sure that DMA is enabled. If it's disabled, your drive won't run as fast as it should.

In any case, I have heard good things about Lite-On's DVD-ROM drives (such as the 166S), but I have never actually used one.
