Making all sessions visible

I got careless and when adding a track to a data CD-R, I chose New, instead of Open, so all I can view is the final session.

Does Nero have tools to recover the other tracks?
If not, what software is available to make all files again visible?

In addition to IsoBuster, if you are not using WinNT, Win2000 or WinXP you can access the different sessions using the Nero Multi Mounter.

If you are not using those operating systems, look in the Nero help file under Miscellaneous | Nero Multi Mounter for instructions on accessing multiple sessions.

Like cfitz said, get isobuster. It's free and can read all sessions. If you want all of the sessions visible again then you use isobuster to extract them to your drive. Then you can burn a new cd with them.

Turns out there's a known bug using some Plextor SCSI CD-ROM drives that ISOBuster has not yet been changed to handle.

I reported the problem to the ISOBuster author and asked Plextor to send me a firmware upgrade (a ROM, not software). Perhaps, the firmware upgrade will eliminate the problem.

ISOBuster works fine with the CD-RW drive.

Wow, tough break kaikow. Hope it gets resolved. Isobuster is a great app to have.
