sony supply dvd+-r to lite-on?

is this true? long time ago i thought it was lite-on who made sony dru-500ax, but it turned out the other way around, the first dvd writer of lite-on is produced by sony...

Yep. It's been known for a few months now. Lite-On's new 4x DVD+R/RW drive is made by them though.

And one very interesting thing is that Sony may now rebadging a Lite-ON slimline DVD+R/RW drive. The DW-P50A might in fact be a Lite-ON SDW-421S. *Unconfirmed yet*
