Firmware Question

I have a Lite-on cd Burner. First it was a 48x24x48 then i learned here that i could upgrade the firmware to the 52x24x52. So i did that. Now i am wondering if I can update the firmware to the new 52x32x52. Is that possible?

Not at the moment. The 52x32x52x uses a Mediatek series 7 chipset. Your's uses a series 6. Trying to flash it with series 7 firmware will most likely leave the drive inoperable.

I think that people have tried to flash a 6 series drive with the firmware of a 7 series drive, and it has always failed.
