old DVD video with scratches, skip unreadable sectors?

hi there,

i've an old DVD video that i want to backup since it has some scratches. unfortunately, it has some unreadable parts and i want to have it skipped instead... any ideas?

You could try the freeware DVD ripper DVD Decrypter.

Under Tools | Settings | I/O under Options, check "Ignore Read Errors". If the unreadable parts are not too widespread, this may allow you to retrieve the majority of the DVD
