Hey all. I have a retail version of Nero 5.5.10.28 with the MPEG2 decoder. I was messing around yesterday with the AVI rip of Independence day, which I wanted to back up as an SVCD, as it came to about 750MB. I put in a new Moser Baer 52X CD into my 52246S. Then I started the Nero Wizard to create an SVCD and just dragged the AVI file into the CD layout. At no point did I press the record button. Just messed around a bit and shut the program.
When I started Nero again to burn some stuff, it spat the CD out, saying there was no place on it. I checked it using Nero's Medium Information command, and it saw 1 session of 702.83 MB on the CD. The session and CD were both still open. I tried closing session and disc, but it gave me a "session fixation error".
Any idea what went wrong? I'd like to find out, so I wouldn't have to lose a blank CD again!
