I am expecting to receive my new OEM NEC ND-1300 within the next week and I am curious to see if anybody has successfully flashed the TDK 440's firmware on to one of these :o  :P ? Thanks in advance for your responses. :D

What benefits I can achieve with flashing my NEC ND-1300A
to TDK Indi 440 (original rev. 1.06, rpc1 firmware from ethna) ???

P.S.
I don't wanna flash my DVD-+R drive with "experimental" hacked firmwares (with unchecked and buggy media codes) from Herrie or another one.
