optiwrite and Ulead

I just bought this drive and for some reason it does not work with ulead dvd moviefactory 2 please help!!!!!! And also it sometimes shows up in xp as a cdr drive and then wont burn what is wrong with this drive!!!!! Can i return it without the box cause i threw the box away!!!!

D/l the latest cdw32.bdb drive update from www.ntius.com ,copy it to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ulead\DVD and use the NTI writing plugin in MF2.
