Am I doing something wrong with my DVD burner ?

Postby gomcse on Fri Jun 20, 2003 1:07 pm

Hi folks,

Just installed my Pioneer DVR-A05 DVD burner onto my PC. Everything is except when I do a full erase on my DVD-RW (Princo DVD-RW) I either getting erase failure or after a full erase, my DVD burner cannot access that particular DVD-RW any more.

FYI, if I just do the quick erase, no problem.

May I know how can I fix the problem ?

Please kindly advise.

Hello burninfool

U are right. Might be I should update the firmware the latest version. Of course, since I only have two Princeo DVD-RW, so I am planning to get Verbatim DVD-RW.

Do you think Verbatim is a good brand name for DVD-RW ??

It is ashame that I cannot get Taiyo Yuden,Mitsubishi,Ritek or Optodisc DVD-RW in Vancouver.

Please advise.

Have a nice weekend, man !

Yes it is and Verbatim is usually made by Mitsubishi(sometimes CMC).
