It's a VF-1J put out by Toynami it's part of the Robotech Masterpiece Collection each edition is limited to 15,000 this one is number 00692.

I'm familiar with the Toynami Robotech line. I'm waiting for the Masterpiece Alphas to come out.

Yeah, Macross was like a cartoon for adults. You have robots, characters with a personality and a plot that would put a soap opera to shame.

I still don't like Minmei though...

I'm just hoping that the new robotech series that was anounced for 2004 comes out just as good as the original series.

Yeah, if the animation is anything like Macross Zero, it will kick some serious ass. It probably won't be. These days everything is like Digimon.

You not the only one who dosn't like MinMei. All that I have seen of Macross Zero was used in an AMV but I do hope the animation is like what I saw.
