QSI SBW-242 region free

Hi there.

Is there any way to get QSI SBW-242 region free?

Since there ain't any flashible region free firmware would DVDIdle Pro be any good in getting it region free?

Tried DVDIdle Pro when the drive wasn't set yet and there were 5 user changes left, but after playing a DVD it was set to region 2 and only 4 user changes are left.

Doesn't DVDIdle Pro recognise the drive if it isn't set yet or are QSI combo drives not supported at all?
Will DVDIdle Pro work now as the region is set now?

idk if dvdidle pro works with this drive or not, but please try making a backup of your firmware with mtkflash since this drive seems to be mtkflash compatible. Send your backup to etna and you might get a patch.
