Logical Unit Not Ready, Operation in Progress

When I burn data using Nero at 40X it takes about 4 minutes to get to 100%, but it doesnt complete succesfully. After about 16 minutes I finally get the error message "Logical Unit Not Ready, Operation in Progress." The data is burnt fine and the cd works but this is still a pain. Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it?

Your burner is not recording at 40x if it takes 4 minutes to get to 100%, even if it is set to that speed.

Try a different high quality media and see if that fixes the problem.

You might also try recording at 24x to see if the burn completes successfully without the delay.

Make sure that DMA is enabled for your drive.
