Does anyone know who makes this drive or if there are any reviews of it?

This is now off their website. I'm glad I ordered the Optorite dual format writer :)

I wonder why it's off their site? Did they have problems keeping up with demand? Problems with the drive?

I'm curious about this!

it may not be on the COSTCO site, but it's on the CenDyne site still. odds are Costco is shuffling their website or something..

The Optorite model I looked at seemed to have a weekly firmware update and lotsa problems. Optorite's drives, for the most part, are LQ, and seem to fail quicker than other drives I've seen
