Anyone know where I could find a link to that 100-pack of Imation CD-Rs? I'd like to pick up a few of them.

The rebates are tad bit confusing. If you look at the 2 rebates for the Cendyne Internal 52x drive, they each require you to send the original UPC symbol...:-?

Helo Chiphead the OfficeMax rebate will take copies of the receipts and upc symbol.

If you look birectly under where the form says submission guidelines you will see that copies will be accepted for this rebate.
The cendyne rebate though you will have to send in the original upc symbol to.

I have had bad experience with my 48X Lite-On CDRW and the imation CD-R's. It seems to consistently produce errors...

I'd stay away from the imation...

I don't doubt you, but I have had very good luck with Imation 32x media in my LTR-32123S. The 32x Imations didn't work well in my Benq 4824P, though.

Thanks David & Ian. I just came back from OfficeMax and got the Cendyne 52x drive. Sure enough, the coupon from OM says copies are accepted. They even printed out 2 reciepts for me. Too bad the imation 100 pack was sold out or my day would've been complete :)

PS the drive is Liteon 52x drive mfr date was 2/03.

you're lucky you got a Lite-On.

Both the Verbatim on sale last week at Best Buy for $15 after rebate and this Cendyne for $10 after rebate in my area were made by ASUS...

Nice deal on the 52X CD-RW.

They had a cheaper 4X DVD burner last week though.
It was $149.99 + tax AR, BEFORE coupon.
