nero express and nero

nero express and nero

i know that this has been asked before but i coulndnt find the thread. i just upgraded to nero 5.5.10.28. i can not launch the regular nero. all i get is nero express. what am i doing wrong?

If you have a bundled version of Nero it might be limited to Nero Express. However, if you had Nero Burning Rom before upgrading then you might need to re-enter your serial number to enable Nero Burning Rom.

It is found in the registry: _LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ahead\Nero - Burning Rom\Info – Serial5

Write it down and open Nero Express, go to the Nero button and choose enter serial number to enter the number you just found.

Nero Burning ROM /Express

I have a LG CDRW 48x24x48x that came bundled with NERO 5.5.9.9.

I downloaded the update to 5.5.10.???? and installed it.

I ended up with NERO Burning ROM (original software) as well as Express on my PC.

Both work perfectly. They sit in the same Start>Pograms>Ahead folder and my wife and I each use the version they are happy with.
