A most unfortunate thing happened at around 2:00 PM EST upon flicking the switch a light bulb went out making the room a little darker place to be in. Leaving the remaining lights on for fear if I turned them off when turned back on that they too will go out. I fetched a two step fold able steep stool and brought it to the room. Setting up the stoop under the fixture I inspected the burnt out bulb to find out the wattage. After gathering the neccary information I went to retrieve the part neccary to make the room a little brighter. To my dismay the first replacement bulb that I grabbed was the last one in the box and it had a broken filament in it so I had to get another. The second replacement bulb was also the last one in a box but it's filament was not broken. I screwed the bulb into the socket while power was still feeding into it since I did not bother to turn the lights off.
