Well, you seem to be right, ZenMaster27. I bought one, and it appears to be a Benq. It looks just like other Benq drives I've seen, but it looks just a little different from the one in the picture in the ad. It came with Nero Express. It's identified as "ATAPI CD-RW 48x24" and has firmware D.LC. It doesn't seem to support Mt. Rainier, though.

Oh, well, for free, I really don't have anything to quibble about. BTW, the buffer is 2MB.
I also bought the 50-pack of CD-R discs (they were Spin-X in my area) and here's the ATIP (Read with SMART-BURN Media Checker in the Benq drive mentioned above):
