Which brand do you think is the best
I have a LG GCE-8520B 52/24/52
and Samsung CD-ROM SC-148T

the "brand name" can have VERY little to do with it... for example memorex CD-Rs are made by roughly 10 billion different manufacturers... (slightly over exagerated for the purpose of making a point)
Punch Cards -> Paper Tape -> Tape Drive -> 8" Floppy Diskette -> 5 1/4" Floppy Diskette -> 3 1/2" "Flippy" Diskette -> CD-R -> DVD±R -> BD-R

If you can get a good deal on any media that a test shows as TaioYuden, go for it, they're usually japanese made.

Fuji... made my Taiyo Yuden has served ne well. Won't buy anything else.
