Audio CDRs

Is there a difference between Audio CDrs and Data other than name and price, I have always burned Audio with Data CDrs and I am wondering why people buy audio cdrs.

The main difference is that you are wasting your money if you buy audio CDR's. They are limited in their functional use (created for standalone CD recorders), and have a music royalty fee added which increases the price. They are encoded so that they can't be recopied on the standalone CD recorder.

Save your money and buy data discs only. They are more versatile for music and less expensive as well.
