Anyone have info about this DVD(VCD?) recorder? (CTC EC-100)

I suspect it may only be a VCD recorder despite the claims made on this advert, but even then if the price was right it would be a useful toy. Does anyone have any specs? I don't seem to be able to find anything on this unit.

But it's in Chinese. From what I can make out it is a VCD recorder, but I'm not sure.

I do find Babelfish's Chinese translator funny though....
