EAC x CDex

What is the best audio ripping program ?
I use both (EAC and CDex) and I think they are great, but how can I make sure that the quality of a wav file ripped with one program is betther then ripped with the other ?

AFAIK they both use CDRip.dll to extract to .wav so there would be little if any differance in quality.I prefer CDex because it has more features and settings.

EAC with external LAME encoder. IMO EAC deals with errors better than cDex.

Basically speaking, it's a mode that double-checks to make sure that the extracted audio is exactly correct. You can read more about it and other EAC technology features here:

EAC has a feature where you can compare 2 wav files to one another. It will report all discrepancies between 2 extracted wavs. It can be useful in determining the quality of an extraction by EAC vs. one using CDex (or any other program that rips audio).

I would add that most people in the net-audiophile-world seem to consider EAC the superior. However, they are both excellent programs.
