I work at a OfficeMax store the drives that which we received in are manufactured by ULTIMA ELECTRONICS CORP which would make them Artec drives
the model numbers for the drives are.

52x24x52 cd-rw = WSM-52x
16x DVD-Rom = DHM-G48

Both of the drives are labled as being manufactured in Febuary 2003.
