how to enable underrun protection !?!?!?!?!?

I have an LG 8480b and cdrwin 3.9c installed.
Even if I can burn cd I don't understand why the "underrun protection" option is not available (it means that the option is not highlited).

Any suggest?

This is an old thread and the issue may be academic at this point.

However, truz, if you are still around and puzzling about this occurrence, it would be my guess that the Superlink buffer underrun prevention (a MediaTek product) of your LG burner is not supported by CDRWin.

There are many different buffer underrun prevention technologies available now, and CDRWin is usually behind the curve in providing support to products and technologies that are not mainstream.
