princo dvd-r media

i woul like to know if the princo dvd-r 1x media can be burn at 2x with my sony dru like it does with the riteks 1x. if not can somebody tell me of any other brand that can be burnt at 2x even though they are 1x.

I dunno, Princo 1X will only burn at 1X on my Toshiba, even though the drive supports 1X and 2X burning.

i bought a spindle of princo 1x dvd-r discs about a month or so ago from ebay; they only let me burn them at 1x in Nero v5.5.10.15a on my Sony DRU500AX...

burn fine, though -- this batch has been good cheap discs so far...

Burns great at 2x on my Pioneer 105 with "special" firmware
